The items below are Non-Negotiable; they are for dance class and performance purposes, these items are known as Dance Basics. Dance Majors are expected to be prepared with ALL BLACK ATTIRE every class, if not your grade will be affected for Non-Compliance with the Dance Major Dress Code.

SWEATING AND CLEANLINES:

After intense dancing and sweating your body will release odor and this will affect your hygiene. 


Take Care of Your Attire. Wash Out Your Dance Clothes by Hand Frequently. Leaving WET clothes in a bag causes MILDEW. 


MAKE UP IN DANCE CLASS

HEAVY make-up will clog your pores and cause you to break out with pimples. LIGHT Make-Up is acceptable. 


Ladies, your hair needs to be away from your face in dance class.
